DosageChew 1 tablet 3 times daily 20 minutes before each meal, or as directed by a health care practitioner. Keep out of the reach of children.
ContraindicationsAs DGL has been shown to reduce the gastric bleeding caused by aspirin, DGL is strongly indicated for the prevention of gastric ulcers in patients requiring long-term treatment with ulcer-causing drugs, such as aspirin, other NSAIDs (e.g. ibuprofen, piroxicam, indomethacin, and dicofenac), and corticosteroids (e.g. prednisone).
Additional InformationChildren: Suitable for children at one-half the adult dosage. Do not self-diagnose an ulcer in children. Consult a qualified health care practitioner for proper diagnosis and monitoring.
Pregnancy and Nursing: Considered safe during pregnancy and lactation.
